The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) was founded in 2010 as SGT Medical College, Hospital & Research Institute with the vision and desire to establish one of the best institutes in Haryana that offers medical education and research programs, along with providing healthcare services to the needy people in its surrounding areas at a reasonable cost.
Based on the teachings of Shri Guru Gobind Singh — that to spread knowledge is the highest service to mankind — FMHS envisions becoming a trusted brand in medical education and healthcare by providing quality education, research opportunities, and preventive as well as palliative healthcare services at an affordable cost.
The primary aim is to create Indian Medical Graduates and Postgraduates with knowledge, skills, and strong ethical values, capable of serving effectively in the national healthcare delivery system. FMHS is committed to continuously upgrading infrastructure with recent advances in medicine to meet the needs of both rural and urban populations alike.
