Lung Tumors: Brief overview and Slide Based Discussion

Guest lecture and Hands on workshop on advances in immunohistochemistry and molecular biomarkers for precision diagnosis of lung tumours and slide based discussion was organized by Association of Pathology of FMHS on 1st April 2024, 09.30 am onwards. The same was attended by all the faculty members, PG students and technicians from Department of Pathology.

The workshop was conducted in three parts. First part was devoted to the recent updates in lung pathology. The second part consisted of the applications of immunohistochemistry and molecular techniques in the diagnosis, treatment and prognostications of lung tumours. Finally, the speaker conducted a slide seminar demonstrating interesting cases of lung tumours. The session lasted for over 3 hrs. Overall it was an enriching session for the entire staff and students. It evoked much interest among the audience.
