Empowering minds, Illuminating Paths: SGT College of Pharmacy, SGT University, Gurugram has celebrated "National Pharmacy Education Day" to commemorate the 122nd birth anniversary of Prof. M.L. Schroff as PHARMA ANVESHAN 2024. The event was celebrated on March 6, 2024, with the theme "Leveraging Synergism: Industry-Academia Partnership for Implementation of National Education Policy: An Urge to Meet Global Pharmaceutical Need.". The event began with a welcome by Prof. Vijay Bhalla, Dean, SGT College of Pharmacy, where he emphasized bridging the gap between industry and academia to enhance pharmacy education within the existing curriculum. This was followed by a panel discussion by students of SGTCOP on the topic of NEP 2020: Implementation Challenges. SGT University official, Dr. Atul Nasa, Vice Chancellor, present during the event, felicitated student coordinators and also welcomed the eminent speakers

The occasion was graced by a panel discussion of eminent personalities: Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Panda,Senior General Manager, Mankind Pharma Ltd, Dr. Saurabh Arora, Executive Director at Arbro Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd, Dr. Ekta Kapoor,Head, National GLP Compliance Monitoring Authority, DST, Mr. Sree Kumar, Head of Corporate Affairs at Systopic Laboratories Ltd and Mr. Sachin Nichal, Asia Head, Life Sciences Risk, McKinsey & Company and Shri Narender Kumar Ahooja, former state drug controller FDA, Haryana The panellists discussed about the National Education Policy 2020, Clinical Research in India, skill development for academic success and the importance of fostering a thriving healthcare innovation ecosystem. The event ended with a vote of thanks by Prof. Sonal Setya, HOD, Pharmacy Practice, SGT COP. There were more than 300 student participants who attended the event.
