The M.Sc. Strength & Conditioning at SGT University prepares graduates to design, deliver and lead evidence-based strength & conditioning (S&C) practice across athletic, clinical and performance settings. The curriculum integrates advanced exercise physiology, biomechanics, performance analysis, applied coaching practice and research methods so that graduates are capable of working with high-performance athletes, teams and allied health professionals. This one-year intensive programme combines laboratory-based teaching, applied field placements, micro-certifications and a supervised research project to develop technical competence, critical appraisal skills and professional leadership in S&C.

Facilities & partnerships
Learners will have access to SGT’s on-campus gym and performance facilities, biomechanics and physiology laboratories, and performance analysis suites. The School maintains active ties with National Sports Federations and organisations for placements and applied projects, including (but not limited to) Special Olympics Bharat, select state federations, Sports Authority of India (SAI) placements and external sports organisations.
Research & career pathways
Graduates are prepared for roles as Strength & Conditioning Coaches, Performance Analysts, Rehabilitation S&C Specialists, High Performance Assistants and researcher-practitioners in sport institutes, professional clubs, rehabilitation centres and academic settings. The programme’s research emphasis also provides an entry route to PhD study in applied sport science and biomechanics.
