Dr. Saima Hamid is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at the Faculty of Applied and Basic Science of SGT University. She has done her doctoral degree and masters from University of Kashmir. She has qualified UGC- NET multiple times with Fellowship grant. She has published many books and more than 30 research articles in highly reputed journals including Frontiers in Plant science, Wiley, Elsevier, Springer and MDPI. Her research areas lies in Medicinal plant research, Himalayan Biodiversity, Plant stress biology, Ecology and conservation, Ecological modelling and climate change.
