Dean Academics

Prateek-Agrawal

Prof. (Dr.) Prateek Agrawal

Dr. Prateek Agrawal is having 16 years of academic, research and administrative experience in higher education. He completed his two-years post doctorate research from University of Klagenfurt, Austria and contributed in multiple European union funded projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from IKG-Punjab Technical University and is recipient of MHRD research scholarship during his M.Tech. from ABV-IIITM, Gwalior. Dr. Agrawal has held leadership positions including Associate Dean, School Coordinator at Computer Science & Engineering, Head of Department, Accreditation & Quality Assurance Coordinator, Examinations Scrutiny coordinator etc. at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, India. He has contributed significantly to curriculum design, academic governance, NAAC/NBA accreditation, and strategic academic planning. He authored 80+ research publications in Scopus indexed journals, conferences and books. He published 100+ Indian Patents and also achieved 05 national/international patent grants. Dr. Agrawal successfully supervised 03 Ph.D. scholars, 21 M.Tech. dissertation and 45 UG projects. He is IEEE senior member and served as executive member of sustainable Development Activity at IEEE India Council in 2024. He is Research fellow of INTI International University, Malaysia for Calendar year 2025. His research spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, and large language models. Known for his innovative approach and commitment to academic excellence, he has mentored thousands of students as academician and led hundreds of faculty members to excel in their career.
