His career reflects a seamless blend of academic excellence and administrative acumen, making him a visionary leader in higher education.

Academic Credentials and Teaching Experience
Dr. Verma holds a B.A. (Hons.), M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in English from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. With 14 years of teaching experience in various government colleges across Haryana, he has been instrumental in developing innovative approaches to English pedagogy and curriculum design. His work has inspired students to engage critically with literature while fostering creativity and analytical thinking.

Administrative Leadership
Dr. Verma has served as Deputy/Joint Director in the Higher Education Department of Haryana for 16 years, where he played a pivotal role in drafting and implementing transformative policies, Acts, and schemes that have positively impacted teachers and students alike. His leadership extended to his role as Additional Director of Foreign Cooperation, where he facilitated international collaborations and advanced global education initiatives.

As the State Nodal Officer for the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, Dr. Verma spearheaded the development of new educational frameworks and governance structures to enhance the quality of higher education in Haryana.
