Dr. Dolly Anil Sharma is currently serving as a professor in Radio imaging Technology under the faculty of Allied Health Sciences with a Ph.D. in Medical Imaging Technology from Bhaikaka University, Karamsad, Gujarat. She is a postgraduate in Medical Imaging Technology from School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), where she was awarded the gold medal and honoured as the best outgoing student. Afterwards, she joined as an assistant professor in the department of Medical Imaging Technology, Manipal College of Health Professional (MCHP) formally known as School of Allied Health Sciences in Manipal Academy of higher Education (MAHE), Manipal. Recently she held the position of Professor & Incharge in the department of Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology at the Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Silvassa under the Administration and Directorate of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, U.T. Prior to that, she served as the Assistant professor & Head of the department for 8 years in the Department of Medical Imaging Technology at Bapubhai Desaibhai Patel Institute of Paramedical Sciences (BIPS), constituent of Charotar University of Science & Technology University (CHARUSAT), Gujarat, where she successfully established both B.Sc. and M.Sc. program in Medical Imaging Technology. In addition to academic roles, she has actively contributed to institutional development by working in various capacities as a coordinator for committees such as women development cell (WDC), digital monitoring cell, internal complaint cell (ICC), equal opportunity cell (ECC), ethics and cultural committee and other institutional initiatives. With over a decade of experience in teaching and research, she has published 22 research papers in national and international journals. She has presented in over 15 conferences as a delegate and speaker. She has guided and co guided graduates and post graduates for dissertation or research work. She is also one of the contributors in drafting and reviewing the model curriculum for Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology in the Interim Commission of Allied Health Professionals (ICAHP) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Her vision is to establish and strengthen allied health programs at both academic and professional levels, contributing to quality education, research and skill development in allied health sciences.
