Prof. (Dr.) Vishwanand Yadav is a seasoned academician with over a 4 decades of teaching and research experience in psychology. He has served as Professor and Head at the Central University of Haryana, Mahendragarh and coordinated RCI-approved PGDRP (ADCGC) rehabilitation psychology programs at multiple institutions.His areas of expertise include Rehabilitation Psychology, Psychometrics, Research Methodology, Experimental Psychology, and Guidance & Counseling. Dr. Yadav is a registered rehabilitation professional (RCI) and has made significant contributions through 5 standardized psychological tests, 50+ research publications, and the supervision of 9 Ph.D. and 20 masters students. He has actively participated in more than 80 national and international conferences, chaired numerous technical sessions, and delivered extension lectures across the country. His research interests span disability inclusion, adolescent mental health, stress and coping, and academic well-being. Dr. Yadav has received multiple awards, including the InSPA Award 2022 and UGADI Puraskaram State Awards (2015 & 2019) for excellence in teaching and research. He also recieved appreciation certificate by Ministry of Education, Government of India for venturing counselling services accross the country during the Corona period. He is also associated with several professional bodies and editorial boards.
