SGT University, Gurugram has once again excelled in campus placements. Despite the ongoing pandemic and economic constraints, the university managed to place hundreds of students at top-notch organisations. While ed-tech company BYJU’s offered the highest salary package of INR 10LPA, Flipkart hired the maximum number of students for internship.
While congratulating the selected students, Prof. Dr. K Tara Shankar, Head of Training and Placement, said, “We are proud to share that even during pandemic more than 80 percent of our students got the placement offers. Over 100 recruiters participated in the placement drive which included some of the industry giants, like TCS, Flipkart, Wipro, Accenture, Byju’s, JARO, UNO-Minda, Asahi India Glass Ltd, Nagarro Software, Munjal Showa, SOTI, upGrad, Cipla, Ozone Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Oracle, TO THE NEW, NIIT.Ltd, Nirwana, etc.
SGT University has an active training and placement cell, Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), which is committed towards bridging the academia-industry gap, by facilitating a channel of engagement between meritorious students and the leading companies. It organises internship and placement fairs every year where top-notch companies visit the campus. The CRC department is also responsible for conducting mock interviews, group discussions, and aptitude tests to brush up the skills of the students so that they can pass the interview with flying colours.
