Dr. Ajay Bamba is a dynamic academic and corporate leader with 26 years of diverse experience, blending 15+ years in corporate leadership with 11 years in academia. He is known for his expertise in Marketing Management, Sales & Distribution Management, Curriculum Design and Distance & Online Education. He has earned a reputation for driving impactful research, academic innovation and fostering strong industry-academia partnerships.
Dr. Bamba holds a Ph.D. in Commerce from Maharishi Dayanand University (2011) and an MBA in Marketing from Guru Jambheshwar University (1997). A passionate mentor, he has guided 6 Ph.D. scholars (2 awarded) and 20 postgraduate dissertations, advancing both research and professional growth.
As Professor & Academic Head at Lovely Professional University (2021–May 2024), he spearheaded online and distance education programs for over 55,000 students, developed robust academic frameworks, conducted masterclasses and represented LPU at prestigious regulatory forums. During his tenure as Professor & Dean Academic Affairs at BMU (2013–2020), he successfully led academic operations, quality assurance initiatives, institutional accreditation and global collaborations. His corporate tenure as Senior Manager – Sales at Okaya Power & Amrex Enterprises (2006–2013) saw him launching innovative products and expanding distribution networks across North and South India.
A prolific researcher, Dr. Bamba has authored 60+ research papers in Scopus- indexed and peer-reviewed journals, contributed to academic chapters and presented 30+ papers at international and national conferences. His contributions have earned him invitations to deliver lectures and chair sessions at renowned forums.
Dr. Ajay Bamba held memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Indian Commerce Association and the Global Network of Business Researchers. He has also organized impactful workshops on SPSS, MS-Office and professional skills, underscoring his dedication to academic and professional excellence.
