Special Education
The Center for Ability focuses on the Joyful learning experiences catered through individualized education program facilitating socio-emotional development aimed at students with multiple impairments, intellectual, physical, hearing, speech-language, visual, or autistic spectrum disorders.
- All of our pupils feel comfortable and understood by one another in a psychologically inclusive environment that we provide them. We work with students of all ages.
- Need based evaluation and intervention program focused on functional life skills, educational, and Daily living skills.
- Based on the circumstances and level of severity, we create a customized education plan for the child. For three or four months, the child's IEP plan outlines the learning objectives we want them to achieve. We employ a variety of teaching methods; for example, we focus on the academic portion of the lesson if the child is educable and vice versa.
- Using instructional tools like real items, flashcards, storytelling exercises, etc., we assist the kids with differentiating and generalizing the information. We nurture children's skills and offer a space for art and craft projects.
- Following goal attainment, we create accomplishment reports, hold parent-teacher conferences, and talk about the future plan.
- A highly skilled special educator with a graduate degree assists kids in overcoming obstacles.
- We routinely hold counseling sessions and workshops, and we keep the parents and caregivers updated.
