Dated- 03/04/2024On 03/04/2024, we reached Chetna Rehabilitation and Research Centre, Bilaspur (H.P) where students got the exposure to various services of the institute. Our students were guided by Dr. Arun Kumar (Director), Ms. Pooja (Principal of Chetna Special School), Mr. Anup Kumar ( Course Coordinator) and other staff of the institute.

• Day 2

  Next day, 04/04/2024, we reached Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Sunder Nagar (H. P.) where students got the exposure to various services of the institute. Our students were guided by Dr. Rakesh Kumar Awasthi (Incharge Director), Mr. Manjit Saini ( H.O.D of Special Education), Mr. Shalendra Kumar (Course Coordinator),and other staff of the institute.

  • Visited in Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Sunder Nagar (H. P.) and explore it.

  Next day, 06/04/2024, we went to Kasol area, we did camping in Kasol, visited local market of Kasol and also visited Manikaram Sahib Gurudwara.

• Outcome of Educational Tour:

  The Educational tour to the Special Educational Institute and Composite Rehabilitation Center in Himachal Pradesh, helped the students of Special Education and Education departments, Faculty of Education, SGT University to embark on a journey of discovery, learning, and empathy. Students' understanding got enhanced through first hand exposure to specialized educational practices tailored to individuals with diverse needs. Through guided tours, interactions with educators, and observations in classrooms, they deepened their understanding of inclusive education, adaptive learning techniques, and strategies for supporting students with disabilities, especially visiting the CRC. This unique experience not only provided insight into specialized educational practices but also offered a chance to immerse in the breathtaking beauty of the snow-capped mountains, fostering bonds among peers and enhancing the overall tour experience.
