1st Day 21st August 2024

At 9.30 A.M, as our new students B.Ed.(Gen.), B.Ed.(Spl. Edu.) and D.Ed. (Spl. Edu.) gathered in our lecture theatre 223 2nd floor , their enthusiasm and excitement was well received by flowers and returned a warm welcome by our Dean , Prof. (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma and other Faculty members. The programme began with the welcome address by the Dean. This was followed by an introduction to the students. The introduction session was a fascinating session where all the students shared their thoughts on what made them choose the profession for teaching and opt for the path for teacher training and teacher education. After that a welcome note given by Prof. (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma (Dean, Faculty of Education) addressed the students about the teaching skills, future scopes in teacher education and their career.Thereafter teaching faculty interacted with the students and shared their view about education and his own experiences. After that a welcome address was given by Vice Chancellor Dr. Madan Mohan Chaturvedi. In the next session, Ms. Priyanka gives an overview of the vision and mission of SGT University, Faculty of Education. Before the lunch DSW (Prabhandan Club) members interact with new students.

After lunch Dr. Manita Devi, HOD of Education and Mr. Ravinder Saini, HOD of Special Education took a session on syllabus orientation & scheme of examination. Thereafter university rules and regulations and synergy projects by Mr. Chandan Kumar Dubey & Mr. Abhra Mukherjee.

2nd Day 22nd August 2024

2nd day students went for a visit to the University with Mr. Parveen Kumar & Mr. Awadhesh . During the visit, students were given a tour of E-Block, A-Block, C-Block, D-block, simulation Lab, Central- Library, transport office, Hostels, Mess area, and Playgrounds also.

3rd Day 23rd August 2024

SGT University organized an Excursion trip for students who attend the induction program 2024. The excursion trip is on RANGMANCH FARM. The trip was coordinated by Mr. Parveen Kumar & Ms. Priyanka Yadav.

Sgt university bus reached Rangmanch Farms at 10:30 AM and took breakfast and after that student enjoyed all activities such swimming, rain dance, magic show, kathputli and others

4th Day 24th August 2024

The day began with the Career & Placement session and was followed by Mr. Sandeep. After that, an expert talk on “Teacher for the 21st Century of India” by Dr. Sumini Prakash & another session on “Sexual Offences at Workplace” by Ms. Reeta Chandra. After that student activity was conducted by DSW. Post lunch Mr. Anil in charge of the student section provided information about the student support system, scholarship, hostel, and transport facility.

In the last session, an Art and Crafts competition was organized by Ms. Poonam Talwar. In this competition, four teams were involved in both activities. Dr. Madhavi Sharma Dean, Faculty of Education evaluated and announced the winner of the competition.

5th Day 26th August 2024

At the beginning of the day Mr. Abhra Mukherjee presented a brief introduction to LMS. After that Alumni Talk on “Carrer Growth & Experience Sharing” by Ms. Bharti and Ms. Neha Tehlan.

6th Day 27th August 2024

The day started with an ERP session taken by Mr. Hanumant. After that different student club members took different activities. After lunch, a session on Research and Development was conducted by Dr. Barkha Bhatnagar and in the last session feedback of the Induction Program was taken by Mr. Ravinder Saini & Dr. Manita Devi.
