Ph.D. Transportation Engineering; M.Tech. Earthquake Engineering; B.Tech. Civil Engineering
Amar Deep Pandey is a Civil Engineering PhD (IIT (BHU), Varanasi) specializing in traffic-induced vibration and roadside noise sensing, signal processing, and data-driven transportation intelligence for infrastructure impact assessment and vibration-aware mobility planning. His research spans vibration/noise emission modeling, vehicle classification using accelerometer signals, and ITS-oriented sensing and analytics, supported by strong skills in Python-based ML, time-series/sensor feature engineering, and engineering simulation tools. He worked as a Project Fellow under funded research work (including IMPRINT) on mixed traffic noise propagation and mitigation for mid-sized Indian cities, and holds multiple IP contributions including a granted patent and additional published/filed patents aligned with sensing and transport applications.
