Dr Manoj Kumar (The Sigma Teacher) works as Associate Professor in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SGT University. He completed his Ph.D. (CSE) from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST), Murthal, Sonepat, Haryana (A Haryana Government NAAC Accredited Technical University) under the supervision of Prof. Suman, CSE Department, DCRUST, Murthal, Sonepat in 2022, in Full Time Mode. He was awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Research Fellowship during his PhD.

With his education thought “When you are focused and have defined set of Goals, then, No One can Stop You” he started his academic career in 2011 and has 12 years of academic experience. His research interests are Cloud Computing, Mobile Cloud, Fog Computing, Internet of Things, Edge Computing and optimization techniques.

He has published 18 research papers (including SCI and Scopus), 6 conference presentations, 1 IPTV Book, and 4 copyrights. He guided 6 PG dissertation and 10 UG Projects. He is a lifetime member of International Association of Engineers. He has attended 17 Faculty Development Programs/ Short Term Courses/ Seminars and courses. He guided a Team “Life-Line Meds” in Smart India Hackathon-2023 organized by AICTE, New Delhi that emerges as Winner at Aditya Engineering College, Surampalem, Andhra Pradesh. He guided Team “Life-Line Meds” also at IDE-Bootcamp Phase-II, organized by Ministry of Education- Innovation Cell at Symbiosis University of Applied Science, Indore and emerged as Winner of IDE Bootcamp. He won second prize in Energy Theme at Global Congress on Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Energy and Environment, DCRUST, Murthal, Sonepat, in 2018. Dr Manoj Kumar got complement as “The Sigma Teacher” by Symbiosis Fraternity, at IDE-Bootcamp, 2024. He had been associated with Maharshi Dayanand University, DCRUST, Murthal, and Gurugram University during his academic experience.
