International Conference on Yoga Connect on the Theme “Yoga for One Earth and One Health “Organized by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with CCRYN Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi

The Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN), Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, hosted the prestigious ‘Yoga Connect’ conference at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The event was graced by eminent dignitaries including Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon’ble Union Minister of AYUSH, Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon’ble Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, and Dr. Naveen Visweswaraiah, National President of the Indian Naturopathy & Yoga Graduates’ Medical Association.

Students from the 2021 and 2023 batches of the Faculty of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (FNYS), SGT University, actively participated in thematic sessions that focused on yoga’s evolving role in the management of chronic diseases and its importance in evidence-based healthcare. Their engagement offered valuable insights into the therapeutic applications of yoga and its interdisciplinary relevance.

Faculty members from FNYS, SGT University — Dr. Sunil, Dr. Rita, and Dr. Avnika — also took part in the event, contributing to academic exchanges and gaining exposure to the latest developments in yoga research and practice.
