The Training Bar at the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management (FHTM), SGT University, is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to the art and science of bartending and beverage management. It is a specialized laboratory that replicates a professional bar setup, helping students gain both practical skills and theoretical knowledge in a real-world environment.

Equipped with modern bar tools, glassware, and beverage dispensing systems, the Training Bar allows students to:

  • Learn Mixology – Techniques of preparing classic and contemporary cocktails, mocktails, and innovative beverages.
  • Develop Beverage Knowledge – Study of spirits, liqueurs, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Practice Service Skills – Understanding responsible service, customer interaction, flair bartending, and presentation.
  • Understand Bar Operations – Inventory control, costing, bar layout, hygiene, and safety practices.
  • Explore Creativity – Encourages innovation in recipe development and beverage presentation.
