Today marked the start of an inspiring journey for our newly admitted BAMS students at the Faculty of Indian Medical System, SGT University. The day began with the *Shishyopnayana Sanskara Pooja/Hawan*, conducted by Mr. Sachidanand Vyas followed by a series of tilak and tying Raksha Sutra to the new students by Associate Dean FIMS, Dr. Vidyavati V. Hiremath and faculties of FIMS.

The event was followed by the sacred Dhanwantari Pooja and a traditional lamp lighting ceremony led by our esteemed dignitaries, symbolizing the light of knowledge and the blessings of Lord Dhanvantari for the students' academic journey.

The program was graced by the words of wisdom from Prof. (Dr.) Atul Nasa, Hon'ble Pro Vice Chancellor of SGT University, who shared valuable insights and motivated the students. Prof. (Dr.) Hardeep Singh, Pro Vice Chancellor (Academics), inspired the new batch with his encouraging words. Associate Dean FIMS, Dr. Vidyavati V. Hiremath, also addressed the students, adding valuable perspectives on academic dedication and personal growth. Our senior students (Batch 2023-2024) , Mr. Nishant and Ms. Nandini, shared their vibrant experiences at the SGT University campus, providing a glimpse into the fulfilling student life they can look forward to. New Comers Ms. Shrishti and Mr. Rishi Sharma also shared their thoughts for ayurveda.

The event was hosted by Dr.Anupam,Dr Karuna, Dr.Jagjit, Dr. Monica Dhiman who guided the program seamlessly.

The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Dr. Poonam from FIMS, acknowledging the presence and support of all participants and guests.
