10th AYURVEDA DAY 2025 A RESOUNDING CELEBRATION OF WELLNESS FOR PEOPLE & PLANET

On 23rd September 2025, the Faculty of Indian Medical System proudly celebrated 10th Ayurveda Day, in alignment with the Ministry of Ayush and NCISM directives. This year’s theme, “Ayurveda for People and Planet,” beautifully underscored the timeless relevance of Ayurveda in nurturing individual health and ecological balance.

Event Highlights:

Walkathon/Rally The day began with an energizing Walkathon, flagged off by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor SGT University at 09:30 AM. Participants marched with spirited unison, chanting vibrant Ayurvedic slogans echoing slogans that celebrated the essence of Ayurveda embodying the spirit of collective wellness

Ayurveda Expo Held at D Block – Lower Ground from 11:00 AM, the Expo featured:

  • Prakriti Pareekshan
  • Medicinal Plant Displays
  • Personalized Diet Consultations
  • Ayurveda-Inspired Body Art
  • Engaging Nukkad Natak on holistic health
  • The celebrations concluded with a dignified Valedictory Function at 02:00 PM in the C Block Auditorium. We were honored by the presence of Dr. Raghuram Bhatta, Former President, MARBISM, NCISM, GOI, Prof. Dr. Hemant Verma (Hon’ble VC), Prof. Dr. Poornima Baliga Bantwal (Hon’ble Pro VC), Prof. Dr. Anil Sharma (Dean, FIMS), and Prof. Dr. Sangeeth Somanadhapai (Dean, FNYS) who grace this occasion—their presence added prestige and momentum to the celebration. Together, we celebrated the wisdom of Ayurveda and its promise for a healthier, harmonious future.
