11th Ayurveda Day 2026 Celebrated at SGT University

The 11th Ayurveda Day 2026 was celebrated by the Faculty of Indian Medical System (FIMS), SGT University, Gurugram with a plethora of academic, community outreach, health awareness, environmental and cultural activities.

23 activities were organized in total with active participation of faculty members, students and the community. Academic and educational initiatives included Ahara Anveshan – Recipe Competition, workshops, guest lectures, interdisciplinary lectures, poster-making and essay-writing competitions, AI seminar, reel/video making and Ayur-Hunt. As a part of community outreach health camps were organized at different places providing health assessment, Prakriti assessment, Nadi Parikshan, Ayurvedic consultation, preventive health care and health counselling. Awareness programs on healthy lifestyle, preventive healthcare and women’s health were also conducted. rally on Ayurveda for Healthier tomorrow, street play/ Nukkad Natak allowing student participation for creating awareness regarding importance of health and communicating Ayurvedic Principles through engaging and innovative approach. The celebration offered promotion of Ayurveda through community participation, team work and also offered opportunities for experiential learning. The program was a successful reflection of the spirit of Ayurveda Day, taking Ayurveda from the classroom to the community and emphasizing its relevance in contemporary healthcare and sustainable living.
