Charak Jayanti Celebrated with Reverence and Pride

The Department of Samhita, Faculty of Indian Medical System, celebrated Charak Jayanti 2025, honouring the legendary sage and father of Ayurveda, Maharshi Charak on 29th July 2025.

The event was a tribute to his timeless wisdom and contributions to holistic healing. A curated recital of selected shlokas from the Charak Samhita was held, followed by the solemn administration of the Charak Oath—reaffirming our collective commitment to the ethical practice of Ayurveda.

The event was graced by Dr. Sanghamitra Dash as the Chief Guest, whose inspiring words resonated deeply with the audience.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of tradition, scholarship, and inspiration—echoing the spirit of Ayurveda and the legacy of Charak.
