About The Consortium

The Consortium of National Law Universities was established on 19th August, 2017, with the aim of improving standards of legal education in the country and serving the justice system through legal education. The Consortium aspires to facilitate better coordination amongst National Law Schools to achieve the highest standards of legal education in the country.

Twenty-two National Law Universities have joined the Consortium as members. The serving President of the Consortium is Prof. (Dr.) V.C. Vivekanandan, Vice-Chancellor, Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Raipur, and Vice-President is Prof. (Dr.) S. Shanthakumar, Director, Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar.
