Dr. Palak Sharma is an Assistant Professor of Law at SGT University, Gurugram, with over five years of teaching experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Cybersquatting and Domain Name Disputes from Banasthali Vidyapith, Rajasthan, an LL.M. in Intellectual Property Rights with distinction from Banasthali Vidyapith, and a B.A. LL.B. from CCS University. She has also completed certificate courses from the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
Her research focuses on intellectual property rights, cyber laws, and the intersection of law with emerging technologies. She has published five research papers, including two in Scopus-indexed journals, received Best Paper Awards at conferences, and presented her work at several national and international conferences and seminars.
Dr. Sharma has experience working on the editorial boards of law journals and also served as a Joint Coordinator of the IPR Cell, where she actively organized conferences, webinars, and workshops to promote research and awareness in the field of intellectual property law.
In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a professional Bharatanatyam dancer with a distinction degree. Her broader academic interests include cyber law, comparative legal studies, and the evolving role of intellectual property in the digital economy.
