VIVIBHA (Vision for Viksit Bharat) 2024: SGT University co-organises a Grand Confluence of Research and Intellect on its Campus

7 Tips for Successful Career

Introduction

“There is a need to cultivate research in academic institutions and to get the industry to sponsor it in a big way,” said Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman of ISRO. He was speaking at the inaugural ceremony of “VIVIBHA 2024,” a three-day national conference of research scholars organised by SGT University, and the “Yuva Aayam” wing of the Bhartiya Shikshan Mandal (BSM).

About VIVIBHA 2024

By using Bharatiya Gyan Sampada (Knowledge Treasure) and enlisting industry and reputable research institutions for internships, the event aimed to give researchers a collaborative platform to enhance the quality of purposeful, Bharat-centric research and publications for Viksit Bharat based on Bharatiya research methodology.

SGT University, Gurugram, considered by many the best university for education in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR, was chosen as the venue for this epic confluence, which included a “Research Paper Writing Competition” in which more than 1,68,000 students registered from across India. After a thorough evaluation by domain experts of this vast volume of submissions, 1200 research papers were selected from different states for participation at VIVIBHA 2024.

How It All Happened

One of the highlights of VIVIBHA 2024 was the exhibition that sought to show the evolution of Indian education, right from ancient Gurukuls to modern technological innovations. Firearms and accessories from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s period to BrahMos of the Indian Air Force, etc., have also been displayed on various stalls. SGT University stood out here with its presentation of various student and faculty innovations in medicine and non-medicine fields, including patented machines and prototype creations.

On the second day, 11 sessions were conducted on various themes relating to education, technology, development, agriculture, economics, artificial intelligence, environment, society, art, law, etc. Each of these sessions witnessed engaging lectures by various leaders from industry, state, academia, and other places, with faculty and students of SGT University in attendance.

Aside from Dr. Somanath, a whole host of eminent personalities graced the conference with their presence and wisdom, including Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon’ble Union Minister of Education, who said, “There is a need for a ‘National Revolution’ on research.”

Nobel Laureate Dr. Kailash Satyarthi, while lauding the efforts of the organisers of VIVIBHA 2024, said, “This conference is the initiation of a yajna that will enlighten the whole world." Naval Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi spoke at a plenary session on "National Security," where he shared his views with students and said that “Attitude and Aptitude, Belief in Yourself, Commitment, and Discipline are the four pillars through which one can achieve success in life.”

The final day featured a captivating yoga session by Baba Ramdev, for which all members of the conference excitedly gathered in the early morning hours. For more than an hour, Baba Ramdev gave a defining masterclass on important yoga poses and the concept of holistic well-being. “SGT University and BSM’s initiative towards a Viksit Bharat is historic and worthy,” he said about the event.

In the end, at the valedictory ceremony of VIVIBHA 2024, Shri Manmohan Singh Chawla, Managing Trustee of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust (sponsoring body of SGT University), addressed all young participants and said that VIVIBHA 2024 has not only helped researchers from across the nation immensely but also SGT University’s students and faculty as well.
