SGT University hosted the grand launch of two books named “कैसे बने विश्वकर्मा” and “High Rise Building Construction” authored by the eminent engineer and writer Dr. B.L. Gaur. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. Shipra, who greeted all dignitaries and guests. The event began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, marking an auspicious start.

(Dr.) Atul Nasa, Pro Vice-Chancellor of SGT University, highlighted Dr. Gaur’s dedication and immense contribution to the field of construction engineering. Calling it a historic and golden day for SGT University, he emphasized that the occasion was not just a book release but a celebration of knowledge, inspiration, and achievement. He also praised Dr. Gaur for illuminating the path for young engineers through his vision and lifelong learning.

Mr. Manoj Gaur, Chairman of Gaur Sons Group, shared his thoughts on the books written by his father. He said that both books will greatly benefit young students, especially those in civil engineering. The books clearly explain how to construct strong, high-quality buildings in less time.

Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Director of SKA Group, spoke about the author’s long journey of practical experience in the construction field. He shared that Dr. Gaur has worked on a wide range of projects, including buildings and tunnel works. Mr. Sharma also mentioned that the author is not only experienced in engineering but also has extensive knowledge of writing and poetry.

Dr. Balvinder, Former VC SGT University and RERA Member, UP, expressed admiration for Dr. Gaur, noting that at 89 years of age, the author’s commitment to passing on accumulated wisdom is extraordinary. He also highlighted how AI is becoming an integral part of every industry, including construction.

Following the formal book unveiling by all distinguished guests, Dr. B.L. Gaur, Founder of Gaursons India Group, addressed the gathering. He expressed his gratitude for being among the future generation and reminded students that every day is a learning day. He fondly mentioned Padma Bhushan Shri Ram Bahadur Rai Ji, praising his habit of reading every line of a book with depth.

Padma Bhushan Shri Ram Bahadur Rai Ji, Chancellor of SGT University, encouraged everyone to read all three of Dr. Gaur’s books, including “Bita So Anbita”, which chronicles the author’s remarkable life from resigning his government job to establishing Gaur & Sons. He described Dr. Gaur as a multidimensional personality and how his mind works, which every person should know.

The event ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Shipra, who thanked all the guests, faculty members, and students for their presence and support.
