Dr. Sarju Devi is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Languages and Communication, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University. Completed her Masters, M.Phil and PhD in Linguistics from Delhi University. She has 20 years of Academic experience and Industry experience. She is a member of English Language Teaching Association of India (ELTAI). She has been associated with Central Hindi Directorate, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Government of India as a Resource Person in a project on Indian Languages. She has been teaching Language, Linguistics and Communication Skills to UG students enrolled in Literature, Audiology, Agriculture, Engineering and Allied Health Sciences programs. Her research interests include comparative study between Indian languages, relation between Language and Linguistics, and the importance of communication skills. She has published papers in national and international journals. She has been conducting Workshops, Seminars and Faculty Development Programs regularly. She received the Excellence Award in the field of academics. She has received a number of Appreciations as a resource person in various academic, cultural and sports events organized by SGT University.
