Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme in Dhankot

The Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Programme in Dhankot was successfully organized by the Department of Special Education, SGT University, in collaboration with Udaan School for Experiential Learning and SVSP on March 20, 2025, in Dhankot, Gurugram. The initiative was guided by Prof. (Dr.) Madhavi Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Education, and Mr. Ravinder Saini, Head, Department of Special Education.

Under their leadership, a team of 40 students actively participated in the outreach program, engaging with the local community to raise awareness about special education and inclusive support services. During the visit, the students identified four children with special needs and provided guidance to their families regarding the educational opportunities and specialized services available at Udaan School for Experiential Learning.

The program aimed to bridge gaps in accessibility and ensure that children with disabilities receive the necessary support for their holistic development. The initiative was efficiently coordinated by Mr. Parveen Kumar Jat and Dr. Chandan Kumar Dubey, who played a crucial role in facilitating community engagement and ensuring the program’s success.
