International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

On 5 December, 2023, the Faculty of Education, Department of Special Education under the aegis of Academic Association and Qabil, SGT University, organized an International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event was held from 10.00 AM to 03.00 PM and aimed to raise awareness and promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society. The event featured various activities such as cultural performances, panel discussions by persons with disabilities and their organizations. The event also highlighted the achievements and challenges faced by persons with disabilities in education, employment, health, and social inclusion. The event was attended by more than 200 participants, including students, faculty members, researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and representatives of civil society and media. The event was a success and received positive feedback from the participants and the organizers.
