Course Overview

The B.A.B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability-ID-Preparatory Stage): ISITEP (Integrated Special & Inclusive Teacher Education Program) is a comprehensive four-year, full-time program designed to equip aspiring educators with the knowledge and skills needed to teach children with intellectual disabilities. The program spans 8 semesters and admits 20 students annually. Eligible candidates must have completed 10+2 or Intermediate in Arts, Science, or Commerce with a minimum of 50% marks.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary or plus two examinations or its equivalent (under 5+3+3+4 pattern) from a recognised board are eligible for admission. The relaxation in percentage of marks in the Senior Secondary or plus two examination or its equivalent examination (under 5+3+3+4 pattern) and in the reservation for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes or Persons with Disabilities or Economically Weaker Section and any other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administration, whichever applicable.
  • Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate
  • Subject: English as one of the main subjects
