SGT University Welcomes Utah Tech University Students

On 5th May 2025, the Office of International Relations, in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Indian Medical System, and Faculty of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences, hosted a vibrant Inauguration Ceremony to welcome international nursing students from Utah Tech University, USA, as part of our Study Abroad Program.

The event began with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing the start of a shared academic journey.

Dr. Reshu Madan Sanan opened the event with a heartfelt welcome address, highlighting the importance of global collaboration.

Inspirational addresses by Dr. Poornima Balinga, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Prof. Dr. Hemant Verma, Vice Chancellor, emphasized the significance of international partnerships in healthcare education.

The Utah Tech students introduced themselves, followed by a warm welcome from host faculty coordinators of FNUR, FNYS, FIMS, FBSC, and NRSC.

The event concluded with a gracious Vote of Thanks by Dean Dr. Sunil Kumar Dular.

This ceremony was a beautiful blend of cultural unity, academic excellence, and the spirit of international cooperation. Here's to a successful and enriching journey ahead!
