The Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences, SGT University, under the Bhaskara Club, organized a hands-on training session on “Mathematical Thinking for ML & AI World” on 16 th May 2025. The session was conducted by Dr. Agraj Gupta, Senior Associate Data Engineer at Publicis Sapient, Gurugram. The event began with a welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Bhoopesh Kumar Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Applied and Basic Sciences, followed by the felicitation of the guest with a memento and a sapling as a token of appreciation. Dr. Gupta shared practical insights on how mathematical thinking supports Machine Learning and AI applications, making the session highly engaging and informative. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mohammad Asim, acknowledging the contributions of the speaker and participants.
