The Prodigy Club, School of Basic and Applied Sciences (SBAS), SGT University, in collaboration with the CODE Club, School of Engineering and Technology (SOET), successfully organized two interactive sessions on 10 March 2026. The sessions were delivered by Mr Ritavan, an author and Investor based in Munich, Germany, and were attended by enthusiastic students and faculty members.

The first session, “Durable Value in the Age of AI Excitement,” designed for students, focused on preparing them for a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Mr Ritavan emphasized the importance of developing structured responses to challenges rather than simply following trends. He encouraged students to build strong core values and problem-solving skills to address real-life issues and highlighted the need to continuously update knowledge and remain adaptable. The discussion also touched upon the evolution of the digital world, including the shift from deep learning to reinforcement learning and its implications for future careers.

The second session, “Purpose of Education in the Age of AI Excitement,” engaged faculty members in a discussion on the changing role of education in the AI era. Mr Ritavan highlighted the shift from teacher-centric to student-centric learning, emphasizing open discussions, critical thinking, and problem-based learning. Faculty members shared their experiences and reflected on effective teaching strategies while also discussing the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in education.

Both sessions provided valuable insights into how education must evolve to remain meaningful in an age shaped by rapid technological change. The interactive discussions encouraged participants to rethink the purpose of education, the role of values in learning, and the responsible integration of AI in academia.
