Dr. Mirza Tanweer Ahmad Beig

Dr. M.T. Beig is an Assistant Professor of Physics and has been associated with academia and research in Physics and Photonic Crystals. After completing his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. in Physics, he pursued his Ph.D. in Chaos, Fractional Calculus and Biophysics. His specialisation is Optics, Photonic Crystals, Chaos, and Machine Learning. He is highly dedicated to research and innovation, contributing to theoretical and applied domains. He has participated in several national and international conferences, presenting his work on photonic structures and optical sensor applications in physics. He has received recognition for the best presentations and research contributions. Dr. Beig has also been actively involved in teaching pedagogy and has guided student projects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, focusing on applied physics in computational modelling in photonics and Machine Learning. In addition to academics, he has experience working on interdisciplinary projects. He has contributed to the design of physics courses and machine learning-based optical simulations. His work reflects a potent blend of teaching, research, and innovation, with a vision to bridge fundamental physics and its real-world applications in forensic science and technology.
