Assistant Professor

Ms. Sweety Dahiya is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Science with expertise in nanomaterials, green synthesis, emerging contaminants, photocatalysis, and environmental remediation. Her research focuses on developing sustainable nanocomposite materials, including graphitic carbon nitride and metal-oxide heterojunctions, for the degradation of pollutants, water purification, and clean energy conversion. She has published several first-author papers in reputed SCI journals such as Applied Surface Science, Chemosphere, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. Her work bridges green chemistry and advanced material design, promoting sustainability in nanotechnology-driven environmental and energy solutions. Ms. Dahiya has received multiple accolades, including the Best Presentation Award (VGU Jaipur, 2025), 2nd Best Poster Award (IIT Ropar, 2025), and Best Poster Award (VGU Jaipur, 2023). She has presented her research at prestigious national and international conferences, including JNU New Delhi(Best Presentation Award), IIT Ropar, and DCRUST Murthal, showcasing her contributions to eco-friendly photocatalysts and energy materials for sustainable environmental restoration.
