Introduction

SGT University, a UGC-recognized institution established in 2013, is committed to advancing research, innovation, and multi-disciplinary education.

Spread across a sprawling 100-acre campus on the outskirts of Gurgaon, the university offers world-class infrastructure and resources designed to maximize academic excellence and research outcomes.

SGT University offers over 200 programs in 19 medical and non-medical streams. The medical programs are supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure, including an 850-bedded NABH & NABL accredited tertiary care hospital, alongside renowned Medical and Dental Colleges and a dedicated Ayurveda Hospital and College. These facilities provide students with unmatched opportunities for hands-on learning and clinical exposure.

Our relentless pursuit of excellence and focus on research-based pedagogy has earned us the distinction of being one of the youngest universities to achieve NAAC A+ accreditation. The Humble Beginnings of SGT University

SGT University is humble to be part of the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust. Following Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji's ideals, the Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust established the SGT Dental College, Hospital and Research Institute in 2002. It steadily added Faculties of Physiotherapy, Nursing, Medical Sciences, and other disciplines to reach the status of university, conferred on 24 January 2013 under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act No. 8 of 2013.

SGT University scaled horizontally by establishing Centers of Excellence like NRSC (National Reference Simulation Centre), CCSP (Centre for Cosmology Science & Popularization), CEAPS (Centre of Excellence for Andragogical and Pedagogical Sciences), and institutionalized CCA (Center for Career Advancement), EDC (Entrepreneurship Development Centre), ACIC (Atal Community Innovation Centre), IIC (Institution's Innovation Council) - SGTU for focused attention and holistic development of students, faculty members, and Nation.

About Our Trust

DASHMESH EDUCATIONAL CHARITABLE TRUST (DECT) was constituted in 1999 as a public charitable trust and is registered under Section 12A of the Income Tax Act 1961, aiming to achieve sustainable development and higher growth rates at the national level with a higher education system. The trust’s constant endeavor is to encourage higher and technical education systems and research and development activities in a concerted effort aimed at nation-building.

DECT and its management believe in providing a proper impetus to HEIs in producing competent professionals like doctors, pharmacists, engineers, and managers, encouraging them to think beyond the curriculum while imparting training for the advancement of knowledge.

With an emphasis on “Access to Quality” and “Education to All,” the management and the board of trustees have created a thrust for quality in professional education. It has established the university to cater to the needs of the country in the field of higher and technical education in the NCR area, particularly Delhi and Haryana.

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University is a unit of DECT, with the avowed objective of spreading the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh that the highest service is rendered by spreading knowledge.
