SGT University Shines at 4th Farmers Convention: Faculty of Agricultural Sciences Receives Recognition Award

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FASC), SGT University was honoured with a Recognition Award at the 4th Farmers Convention, organised by the Agriculture Today Group on 17 December 2025 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

During the same event, Dr. Pooja Pant, Associate Dean, FASC, served as a panellist for Session II: “Enhancing Inputs, Credit and Insurance Outreach in Agriculture.” She highlighted the pivotal role of agricultural universities and agri-professionals in shaping the future of agriculture through innovation, capacity building, and farmer-centric outreach.

The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Suman, Assistant Professor, FASC. Dr. Narendra Singh Bhandari and Dr. Manjeet also participated, accompanied by 60 students, providing them with valuable exposure to national-level policy dialogue and stakeholder interaction.

Such platforms reinforce our commitment to academic excellence, industry engagement, and meaningful contributions to the agricultural sector.
