Keeping this spirit alive, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at SGT University organized the 7th Flower Show, Basant Utsav-2025, on February 24, 2025. The event occurred in the lush green University Garden, where the perfect weather, gentle breeze, and vibrant green grass created an idyllic setting for the floral celebration.

Students, faculty, and staff from various departments gathered in large numbers to admire the exquisite display of flowers. The event was graced by the esteemed Padma Shri Dr. Arvind Kumar, Former DDG Education, ICAR, and Founder Vice-Chancellor of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi. A distinguished personality in the field, Dr. Kumar inaugurated the event with great enthusiasm. Despite his busy schedule, he arrived punctually and took a keen interest in the intricate details of the diverse floral exhibits.

Following the inauguration, a steady stream of visitors—spanning all age groups—arrived to immerse themselves in nature’s splendor. The vibrant hues and captivating fragrance of cut and loose flowers, along with the meticulous arrangement of floral groups, created a mesmerizing visual experience. The event was further enriched by enthusiastic stallholders showcasing their products with zeal.

Participants proudly displayed their floral arrangements and eagerly shared their knowledge and experiences. The show not only provided a feast for the eyes but also served as an educational platform, enlightening visitors on the diverse range of plants that thrive in the region.
