Dr. Kanika Bhakuni is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Resources Management (NRM), Faculty of Agricultural Sciences (FASC). She completed her Ph.D. in Agronomy from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology. She qualified the ARS-NET Agronomy examination in 2023 and 2025 and was awarded a Gold Medal in M.Sc. (Agronomy) from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute.
Her areas of specialization include sustainable agriculture, integrated nutrient management, Sugarcane and fodder agronomy. She has published five research articles and two book chapters and also holds a patent related to portable soil pH analysis. During her academic and research career, she received prestigious fellowships, including the ICAR-JRF and FMC Scholarship. She has also gained international exposure through an internship in France.
