He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, SGT University, Delhi-NCR, India. He is having three years of teaching and research experience. Prior to joining SGT University, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biosciences at Chandigarh University, Punjab (July 2022 – January 2023). He was conferred the Junior Young Scientist Award – 2020 by the National Environmental Science Academy—one of India’s nine national academies—during its 33rd Annual Function held at ICAR-IASRI, New Delhi on January 29–30, 2021. He has published 30+ Scopus-indexed papers (Cumulative Impact Factor: 100+), 15+ book chapters, 20+ design/utility patents, 10+ popular articles, and has authored/edited four books. He has also served as a reviewer for many scopus-indexed manuscripts over the last three years. He has presented/participated in 15+ national and international conferences. He has also contributed to the academic community as the Organizing Secretary of one international conference (I-SHINE AI 2025) and Convener of a one international workshop on ORCID. His research interests span phytochemistry and plant-microbe interactions. Currently, his research focuses on the identification of bioactive compounds effective against phytopathogens. At SGT University, he contributes significantly to academic leadership and institutional innovation in the following roles: Member, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Cell, Co-Convener, Central Coordination Cell, Central Coordinator of 80 Academic Clubs, R&D Nominee in National Startup & Innovation Policy, Member, YUKTI Cell (Institution’s Innovation Council – IIC). Beyond academia, he is deeply involved in community and social service. He is an Advisory Committee Member of the Dharti International Foundation, contributing to the Bharat Nadi Abhiyan's "Mission 500 Crore Plantation Drive" for environmental conservation. He is also an active member of Pahal Foundation, through which he led a awareness campaign on 6th July, 2021, distributing over 1 million sanitary pads across 11 districts of Uttar Pradesh on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Maa Lakshmibai Kelkar Ji (Founder of the world’s largest women’s organization- Rashtra Sevika Samiti, Bharat). Additionally, he is Consultant Director of the Bhartiya Himalayan Research Centre (BHRC), India. Throughout his undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral education, he actively engaged in Seva Karya (service-oriented initiatives) through his association with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). A passionate nature enthusiast, he is deeply committed to the integration of traditional Indian scientific knowledge in rural education.
