Dr. Om Prakash
Professor
Dr. Om Prakash is a distinguished agricultural extension expert with over 35 years of experience in research, teaching, and outreach under ICAR. He served as Principal Scientist at the Division of Agricultural Extension Education, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, until his retirement in February 2026. He has significantly contributed to agricultural and dairy extension, watershed management, and climate adaptation. Dr. Prakash has authored 12 books, published numerous research papers, and actively engaged in farmer training and technology dissemination. His work, especially in Bundelkhand and Delhi-NCR, has strengthened sustainable agriculture and rural development, earning him several national and international recognitions. In addition, he secured numbers of awards including Life Time Achievement Award in the field of Agicultural and allied sciences and Award for Excellence in Agricultural Extension
