Dr. Om Pal Singh Khola is a distinguished agricultural scientist with over 35 years of experience in agronomy, natural resource management, and watershed development. Currently serving as Professor and Head at SGT University, he previously held leadership roles in ICAR, including Director of ICAR-IISWC, Dehradun. His work has significantly contributed to sustainable agriculture, particularly in dryland farming and watershed management. He has published over 350 scientific works, including research papers, books, and policy documents. He has led numerous research and consultancy projects and played a key role in policy and institutional development. He has international exposure in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway and has received multiple prestigious national awards for his contributions to agricultural sciences.
