Dr. Pawan Kumar
Assistant Professor (Agronomy)
Dr. Pawan Kumar is an Assistant Professor of Agronomy at SGT University, Gurugram. He completed his Ph.D. in Agronomy from CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, where his research focused on agro-physiological parameters and fodder sorghum quality under integrated nutrient management practices involving sewage sludge, FYM, and nitrogen. His work emphasizes sustainable nutrient management and improved crop productivity under resource-constrained conditions. He qualified the prestigious ASRB/ICAR-NET examination in 2023 and received the Best M.Sc. Thesis Award at an international conference. He also earned merit stipends during his postgraduate and doctoral studies. Additionally, he gained practical research experience as a Senior Research Fellow at ICAR–Central Soil Salinity Research Institute (CSSRI), Karnal. His research and teaching interests focus on sustainable agriculture, nutrient and weed management, organic farming, and climate-resilient crop production systems.
