Dr. Pooja Upadhyay
Assistant Professor (Plant Pathology)
Dr. Pooja Upadhyay is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, SGT University. She completed her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand. She is actively involved in teaching, research, and extension activities under the Plant Protection Division. Her major research interests include plant pathogen interaction analysis, biological control, and eco-friendly disease management strategies. She has qualified ICAR- NET twice in Plant Pathology, reflecting strong academic competence. Her work focuses on host defence mechanisms, molecular pathology, and disease resistance for sustainable crop protection.
