Dr. Shakti Om Pathak
Assistant Professor (Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry)
Dr. Shakti Om Pathak is an Assistant Professor of Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry at SGT University since January 2023. He earned his Ph.D. from S.V.P.U.A.&T., Meerut, and has expertise in soil health, sustainable agriculture, and environmental science. He serves as Incharge of the Soil, Plant & Water Testing Laboratory funded by the Haryana Government. He previously worked as a Senior Research Fellow at ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, focusing on heavy metal risk assessment in basmati-growing regions. He has published over 20 research papers, authored books and book chapters, and written numerous popular articles. He has received multiple awards including the Dr. Rattan Lal Award and Pioneer Researcher Award. He is actively involved in teaching, research supervision, and academic activities, contributing significantly to soil fertility management and sustainable agriculture.
