Dr. Sucheta Dahiya
Assistant Professor (Agronomy)

Dr. Sucheta Dahiya is an Assistant Professor in Agronomy at SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. She earned her Ph.D. in Agronomy from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU), Hisar, where her doctoral research focused on resource conservation and APSIM modeling in direct-seeded rice-zero till wheat cropping systems under the CIMMYT-CSISA project. Her research was supported by the prestigious Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation fellowship. With over 4.10 years of experience in academia and the corporate sector, Dr. Dahiya has taught at PDM University and worked as an FPO Manager at NABCONS, a subsidiary of NABARD. She currently guides 8 M.Sc. and 4 Ph.D. students.

- Utilization of nanoparticles and priming methods to enhance crop growth and productivity.
- Climate-smart agriculture and resilient strategies for sustainable farming systems.
Dr. Dahiya has authored 11 book chapters and 1 book under print, along with 18 published research and review papers, 14 scientific articles, 1 patent published. Her work contributes significantly to advancing sustainable agricultural practices.
