Students from the department of Medical Laboratory Technology & Biochemistry, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences had an enriching academic visit to the Central Instrumentation Facility (CIF) Lab and virology lab at Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi on 6th May 2025. They got hands-on exposure to state-of-the-art research instruments and techniques.

From witnessing the precision of the Raman Microscope and the analytical power of the UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, to understanding the working of the Flow Cytometer used in cell analysis, the visit offered an unforgettable learning experience. Students also gained insights into viral culture techniques and Plaque Assay to quantify viral particles—a crucial method in virology research.

Such visits bridge classroom learning with real-world applications, inspiring the next generation of researchers and healthcare professionals.
