Dr. Vivek Kumar Jha
Professor and Head
Dr. Vivek Kumar Jha is a Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language
Pathology, School of Allied Health Sciences, Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary
University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. He holds a B.S.L.H.S. from Sri Ramachandra
Institute, Chennai; an M.A.S.L.P. from Osmania University, Hyderabad; an M.A. in Clinical
Psychology from IGNOU, New Delhi; and a Ph.D. in Audiology from SGT University.
With extensive academic, clinical, administrative, and research experience, Dr. Jha has made
significant contributions to Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Clinical Psychology,
and Special Education. He has held several leadership positions, including Head of the
Rehabilitation Unit at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Dehradun, and Principal at
R.P. Institute of Speech and Audiology, Karnal, and Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara.
A founding member of several institutions in speech, hearing, and special education, he is a
life member of ISHA, DISHA, and TASLPA. His scholarly contributions include books,
research publications, editorial responsibilities, keynote and invited lectures, conference
chairmanship, and academic development.
