Ritu
Assistant Professor
Ms Ritu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurosciences at SGT University and a PhD
scholar with a strong academic foundation in neuroscience and neurotechnology. She holds an MSc
in Neurosciences and Neurotechnology and a BSc in Neurophysiology Technology. She has gained
valuable hands-on clinical exposure in advanced neurodiagnostic techniques, including EEG, NCV,
EMG and IONM, through clinical training at Medanta–The Medicity, Paras Hospital, and Narayana
Super-speciality Hospital. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of neuroscience,
computational neuroscience, and artificial intelligence, with a focus on developing innovative
approaches for neurological assessment and cognitive health research. She is particularly interested
in exploring the effects of sleep, digital technology use, and lifestyle factors on cognitive function.
As an educator, she is committed to fostering scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and evidence-
based learning while mentoring students in both theoretical and practical aspects of neuroscience.
She actively participates in conferences, seminars, faculty development programmes, and
workshops to remain abreast of emerging advancements in neuroscience and higher education,
reflecting her commitment to continuous professional development and academic excellence.
