Family Therapy: Systemic and Integrative Approach

The School of Behavioural Sciences, SGT University, successfully conducted a five-day workshop on “Family Therapy: Systemic and Integrative Approach,” offering participants an immersive learning experience in systemic thinking and family-centered interventions. The workshop covered key concepts such as narrative therapy, biopsychosocial and systemic models, genograms, family identity, family life cycles, and the phasic model of family therapy. Through interactive discussions, case analyses, role plays, and experiential activities, participants gained practical skills in case conceptualization, client interviewing, and therapeutic intervention. The program effectively bridged theory and practice, equipping participants with valuable insights into family dynamics and contemporary family therapy approaches.
